Akhtar Hospital

Akhtar Hospital was dedicated to the Red Crescent in 1325 by Ms. Akhtarul-Maluk Sohrabi.

The central building of this hospital, which had departments of obstetrics, orthopedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, neurology and psychology, was established in 1332 and handed over to the American army.

With the victory of the revolution, buildings number one and two in Farmanfarmaian of this hospital were handed over to Mustafafan Foundation, and in 1358, they were handed over to the Ministry of Health.

Akhtar Hospital on a land with an area of ​​10,390 square meters in 1365 as an educational and treatment center. It was transferred to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services.
